A free craft making workshop using recycled cans and other materials will be held between 10am and 12 noon on Monday 21st November 2011 at Springwell Gardens Community Centre. The session will be led by Lee Brooks. The session is open to everyone but places need to be booked in advance.

Lee will also be doing a presentation about the Rotherham CAN recycling network at the next Rotherham Federation of Tenants and Residents (RotherFed) open executive meeting to be held between 11am and 1pm on Monday 14th November 2011 at Springwell Gardens Community Centre. Lee is scheduled to speak just after midday for 20 minutes. This meeting is also open to all.

As well as providing interactive workshops for community groups using recycled materials to form individual handcrafted projects, Rotherham CAN will support community groups who wish to collect aluminum cans for recycling.

Rotherham CAN is part of Castings Innovation, a non-profit organisation that helps schools and community groups with recycling. Why not come along and find out more about how you can recycle aluminum and have a go at creating something for yourself”.
