ROAF 2011

Phoenix Dance Theatre – 19th November 2011

Internationally renowned Phoenix Dance Theatre  performed a collection of dance peices in the Great Hall at Magna Science and Adventure Park.

Retina Dance Company – 20th November 2011

Innovative Retina Dance Company  performed their piece ‘Layers of Skin’ in the Red Hall at Magna Science and Adventure Park. In this piece we saw professional dancers from Retina and 12 local young people came together to create a unique performance.

Get Involved!

We continue to engage our community, particularly young people in a multitude of art and dance workshops. In 2011 the work created by the young people in these workshops were performed and presented along side the professionals!

ROAF Old Market Gallery – 1st -30th November 2011

A collection of innovative art work including installations and sculptures from a variety of  local professional artists, were displayed in the Old Market Gallery on Corporation Street in the centre of Rotherham. Artist such as Pete McKee and Michael Latimer were amongst the local talent exhibiting their works. Exciting times for the folk of Rotherham!!

ROAF 2011 Fringe!

In ROAF 2011 we developed a fringe aspect to this festival. Any events involved in ROAF fringe benefited from RCC’s national PR and Marketing strategies appearing under the banner of ROAF 2011
