Rotherham Culture Company is a successful event management and fundraising organisation. Work over the past 18 months includes arts regeneration projects, arts training and arts project management. Our large annual event is the Rotherham Open Arts Festival.
What do we aim to do
- Rotherham Culture Company believes in the power of the arts and events to change the lives of individuals, communities and organisations.
- We work to create access to the arts for all.
- We work to champion local talent.
- We understand how to use cultural impacts to bring maximum advantage to regeneration and development strategies.
Our immediate priorities are to :
- Break new ground with the Rotherham Open Arts Festival, by creating an innovative attraction for Rotherham.
- Develop the prowess of the ROAR Consortium and continue to source partnership projects to support local arts organisation and artists
- Nurture Community Projects aimed to develop aspirations, stimulate community activity and explore identity, heritage and a sense of belonging
This revitalised company, directed by Claire Saddington, Steve Rogers and Taiba Yasseen continue to bring more culture, more arts and more dynamic events to Rotherham, to revitalise Rotherham town centre and restore a sense of pride and excited anticipation.
